Total XRD powder analysis

HighScore Plus is a complete full powder pattern analysis tool. It unites phase identification, crystallographic analysis, cluster analysis, profile fitting and Rietveld / structure calculations in one software package under one common user interface. XRDML, ASCII and binary scan file formats of all major suppliers are supported.

Powerful phase identification

The search-match algorithm in HighScore Plus combines peak and net profile data in a single search step, which usually produces the most reliable results.

HighScore Plus now simultaneously supports multiple reference databases. You can search through inorganic and organic databases in one go. User-owned reference data is kept strictly separate from commercial databases. All types of reference databases, from actual to legacy, from premium-quality ICDD products over mid-priced solutions to free downloadable databases are supported.

Comprehensive crystallographic analysis

HighScore Plus contains four classical indexing routines. The unit cell refinement and a space group test on either the full profile (Le Bail fit) or on indexed peaks complete the analysis. Lattice transformations and cell reductions are supported. 

Rietveld / structure refinements

Rietveld analysis of powder data is easy with HighScore Plus. Automatic strategies and batches support the novice user. The refinement control displays a complete picture of all parameters, limits and constraints involved. A Le Bail fit is possible and HKL-phases are supported. The 'Superflip' algorithm is included to solve crystal structures from quality powder data.

Automatic classification analysis

Cluster analysis automatically sorts all scans of an experiment into closely related clusters and marks the most representative scan of each cluster, as well as outliers. This is useful for non-ambient experiments, mining samples and soil mapping, and to monitor the uniformity of industrial products. HighScore Plus processes any number of scans for a cluster analysis.
