The Cement edition of Zetium

Elemental analysis

Zetium is capable of analyzing all major and minor elements and compounds in the entire cement production, such as raw materials, raw meal, kiln feed, clinker and cement. Typical errors, including sample handling and sample preparation, are less than 1% relative.

Determination of free lime

The THETA module of the Cement edition of Zetium is dedicated to the analysis of the free lime content in clinker. Operating in transmission X-ray diffraction (XRD) mode it can analyze 750 times more sample material than solutions based on XRD in reflection mode. The robust analysis has a typical reproducibility (4 point moving average) of 0.1 wt% (1s) at 1% free lime.

Calibration maintenance

Calibration maintenance is a routine operation based on a limited number of instrument control samples and drift monitors. These samples do not require maintenance and can be used over the whole lifetime of the instrument. The SuperQ software of the Cement edition of Zetium allows setting up automatic routine maintenance at chosen time intervals without human interference.
