PANalytical Customers once again help sponsor Save the Children projects

Wednesday 11 November, PANalytical invited all their customers to take part in their yearly Global Customer Satisfaction Survey. PANalytical puts the customer at the center of its business and customer satisfaction is a fundamental business driver. Customer satisfaction surveys are therefore a key instrument in measuring our performance and identifying improvement areas.

Traditionally PANalytical has donated €5.00 to a chosen charity for every completed survey. PANalytical generated € 8,000 from our Global Customer Satisfaction Survey 2014 for the charity Save the Children. We are pleased to inform you of some of the Save the Children educational activities PANalytical, with your help, was able to sponsor in 2015.

In 2015, Save the Children carried out various educational projects in eg. Tajikistan, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Haiti, Afghanistan, Liberia, Uganda, Pakistan and South Sudan. With these projects Save the Children has been able to reach thousands of children in primary education.

We would like to highlight one educational project that has been carried out in Uganda. This program was implemented in the districts Amuru and Nwoya in Northern Uganda and Amudat in North Eastern Uganda. 6.000 children have been reached through the education activities in the program. 10 government schools and 6 community schools were supported with infrastructural improvements, classroom construction and delivery of school materials such as book shelves, benches, tables and blackboards. Further, teachers in all schools were trained and parent teacher associations were set up and trained on their roles and responsibilities. A great achievement of the program is that Save the Children was the first organization that succeeded in introducing alternative education in Amudat district focusing on a highly mobile nomadic group.
We appreciate our customer feedback in our yearly survey which also enables us to help more children in the coming year.
